Map

The map screen shows you all your geocoded Debtors and Prospects. When if first loads the browser will ask permission to use your current location and centre the map on your position.

Every time you move or zoom the map it will query the database for any clients or prospects within the current bounds of the map and put a marker on the map for each. If there are a number of companies in close proximity they will be grouped together until you zoom in close enough to differentiate them. This can be done by scrolling your mouse, clicking the + button at the bottom right or clicking on the number in the circle.

Clicking on a green (customers) or white (prospects) marker will display an info window with their name. This is a clickable link that will take you to the customer details page.

The map also shows live traffic information to allow you to plan your best route to and from clients.

At the top of the screen you are able to select a search template to use when plotting on the map. These are set up in MYOB Exo Business Config. If you want to set a template as a favourite (this one will load by default) click the star next to the template name. A yellow star indicates that this is the current default template.

Setting up Client Geocoded Data

You will need our support desk to enable the profile for looking up client's latitude and longitude from their address. Once this profile is turned on, Debtor and Prospect addresses will have either a green or red pin in MYOB Exo Business to indicate whether an exact map point can be found. Only companies with a green map pin in MYOB Exo Business will show up on this map.
